Favourite Open Championship venues?
❝I like St Andrews, when the Open is held there the town gets all into it, around it & excited about it. Obviously as far as golf courses are concerned I think Birkdale, Turnberry & Muirfield are probably the best golf courses.❞

Memorable Open Championship moments?
❝I finished second at St Andrews in 2010, a long way behind Louis Oosthuizen, he sort of ran away with it and we were just playing for second place really.❞
❝I ended up fourth at Portrush, Shane kind of ran away with that one and I think I finished fourth at Royal Troon as well in 2004 so I’ve got a few good results in The Open.❞
What about Royal Liverpool?
❝The course has changed a little since I last played it, I think the 16th is now a different par three out towards the sea. I remember it being a good golf course, you’ve got to hit it straight around there and there are some tricky holes because it tends to always be a crosswind.
A good par 5 finishing hole provides excitement so yeah I think it’s a good good links test and it’s good Open Championship venue.❞
