Young Rory McIlroy had played some of the best golf of his life at the Masters last week to find himself with a four shot lead on the final day. Unfortunately he imploded and carded score of 80 on his final round.
Following his major choke on the final day of the Masters, Rory must have thought that things could only get better.
It was obviously a traumatic experience at Augusta and it couldn’t have been easy to share a plane to Malaysia with none other than the man who took advantage of his collapse on the final day; Charl Schwartzel.
They say bad things come in threes and Rory can now testify to this. As an optimistic young man, McIlroy arrived in Malaysia hoping his fortunes would change with a win at the Malaysian Open…only to find his clubs had gone missing along the way!
