Pinehurst Resort announces new Tom Doak golf course to open in 2024
Acclaimed golf course architect, Tom Doak, is creating a new course to add to the North Carolina golfing nirvana, Pinehurst Resort.
Doak’s new design will be known simply as Pinehurst No.10 and will be the first addition to the resort in 28 years. The course will be located 5 miles south of the resort and will feature all the hallmarks of the Pinehurst courses of pine trees and sand.
Despite having the same terrain as the other courses in the resort, Pinehurst No. 10 is set to feature large elevation changes to create a memorable golfing experience that’ll no doubt start challenging for a place within the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World.
Why not tag on a golf trip to North Carolina, playing Pinehurst, as an addition to a Bucket List experience to The Masters?
Considered to be one of the best golf resorts in the USA, Pinehurst features a choice of accommodations and 9 other golf courses to play during your stay. With golfers flocking here from all over the world, the appeal of another course is set only to increase footfall on these fabulous fairways.
Golf courses in North Carolina are known for their scenic woodland and parkland courses surrounded by outstanding natural beauty.
