Having just returned from my Your Golf Travel Golf Break to The Park Resort I’m happy to give you some feedback on our weekend away.
The golf course was brilliant, two courses, great layouts for both, condition was great (greens very tricky and fast) and good for all golfing abilities, my partner plays off 31 and she beat me (I play off 18) so I would say anyone but a complete beginner would enjoy the courses at The Park.
The Clubhouse is being refurbished so not the best I’ve been in, no complaints though as still very comfy, had a bar and big flat screen so could watch the sport, price of a pint was very reasonable, coming from London so a nice surprise to get charged a reasonable price! The atmosphere was good as there was a society playing so the 19th hole was full of good humour, and very welcoming.
What can I say about the hotel? It was brilliant, that’s what I call value for money! Food was superb, cooked to perfection, what I call posh nosh, hotel rooms that I would have paid double the price if I’d had to, my partner loved it, quality all the way, the staff were very polite and a credit to the hotel. The place lived up to and beyond my expectations.
In terms of its location it was easy to find, M4 junction 18 and you’re as good as there, no problems following the signposts. In terms of an overall rating out of 10 it has to be a big 10 out of 10.

Have been to the Park a few times before and can fully recommend it as a golf break venue. Both courses are good and the food is top notch!
