The Kent coastline is renowned for its golfing wares, and is actually home to three historical Open Championship venues. The seaside stretching along the coast around Sandwich is the focal point for one of England's most impressive collection of links golf.
At the heart of the complete Kent Tour is Royal St George's, an epic links course carved into a minefield of God-given sand dunes. This remarkable club is a regular on the Open rotation, and is arguably England's best seaside course.
Its neighbours are almost as noteworthy, and are able supporters in this great triumvirate; Royal Cinque Ports and Prince's are classic and traditional links courses, and are certainly carved from the mould of the golfing purist's dream.
For unedited seaside golf, these Kent gems are pretty hard to beat.
