The course is set in a fantastic location with views over the channel and surrounding hills. Quite a hilly course but with generous fairways and little rough it was a fair test of golf. 40mph gusting winds made it more difficult. The greens really let the course down. They had just been hollow cored and sanded and were extremely poor. Probably the worst greens I have played on in all the tours I have been on.
Situated above the English Channel upon the White cliffs of Dover this James Braid designed gem celebrated its centenary in 2009.
Blessed with a wonderful natural landscape of the Kent coast, panoramic views and tricky sea breezes Walmer & Kingsdown provides a stern test for golfers of all abilities.
