The resort boasts two championship golf courses along with excellent practise facilities. The West Course is shorter in length, but still offers a good test of golf. There are some narrow fairways and small greens, so accuracy is key off the tee and in your approach shots to the greens.

Hollins Hall

The course has a strong reputation for extremely smooth greens as well as being an all season course, good to know if you are planning an autumn or winter golfing break. Course management is key to taking on this course, undulating fairways, water hazards and large bunkers are what you will be up against. Make sure you plan each shot carefully keeping the ball in play or you may well be playing shots you didn’t think were possible. Worsley Park

The course is built throughout 8 lakes, which do come in play during the round, so make sure that accuracy is key and you play strategically. The course offers several risk or reward dilemmas, for example the 4th and 17th holes are both very driveable, which could lead to having a eagle putt, but with a drive slightly off line, you could be staring a big number.

The golf course its self is a very good, tough test. The front nine give fantastic views of some of Hertfordshire’s rolling landscapes and farm land. The front nine is the more peaceful of the nines, this is due to the back nine being close to the A10 dual carriage way.  The back nine has more of a parkland feel to it with holes being a bit more tree lined, and several holes played a bit trickier due to water hazards.
