Practice Presicion Putting with the Argon Laser Putter

Precision putting practice aid - the Argon Laser PutterLaser putters might sound like a gimmick, but in truth they do exist.  The concept is simple enough; a laser beam is emitted from the centre of the putter face, which allows the player to check their alignment to the hole and occasionally see, rather than imagine a line.

Being able to align the putter with the hole is all good and well when you haven’t yet addressed the ball, but once you take up position and place the putter behind the ball then it’s inevitable that the laser becomes obstructed and any advantage you may have had is lost.  Until now!

Argon has manufactured a putter that contains not one, but three lasers! Two of these lasers are at ground level – one on the heel and one on the toe of the putter face. The other laser is situated in the middle of the clubface, adjacent to the height of the ball. The ball when addressed obscures neither of the two ground level beams, and when standing over a putt, the player can see a set of laser rails which gives a visual of the width of the line and can help with both putter/hole alignment and stroke.

Unfortunately, the Argon laser putter can’t help you to read undulations, and the putter is probably only for use in practicing your stroke at home on a carpet, but it does at least look cool.
