Back in (2005) Ross Marshall and Andrew Harding met at university and shared a love for golf. They wanted to head to the fairways to play the best courses and were always the guys to organise their group society matches. This sparked the idea of Your Golf Travel.
Fast forward to today and we are now proudly the world's largest golf travel business, offering golf breaks and golf holidays to over 3,000 destinations in 22 countries throughout the UK, Ireland, Europe and the Rest of the World.

As a valued customer, I wanted to thank you for travelling with Your Golf Travel and to provide you with an update on some developments in our business in the last year.
The last two years have been a challenging period for us all, but it has also highlighted the invaluable role that golf can play in helping us maintain both our mental and physical health. Of course, there is also the way this great game allows us to reconnect with friends and family in a safe and controlled environment. Wherever you are, I truly hope you have spent some quality time on the fairways and will continue that trend post the pandemic.
Over the last year, we have continued to take time to reflect on our business and how we must evolve to better serve you, our travelling golfers.
In recent months, YGT has welcomed a new Managing Director in the UK to drive our future plans to make you golf happy by accessing the most enjoyable and inspiring golf experiences on the planet. We continue to invest heavily in the customer experience, so that we can now provide a more concierge-style service, whilst staying committed to maximising your golfing experiences across all budgets. Our customers continue to have a main, single point of contact for each booking, and we continue to focus on shortening response times and providing services dedicated to individual groups and complex itineraries.
Our contracting team continues to spend considerable time working with destinations, golf courses and suppliers all over the world to secure better deals with more traveller benefits and exclusive extra yards for our golfers. Many of these travel benefits we aim to deliver either at venue level or through our industry-leading “YGT Key”, the first of its kind in unlocking benefits throughout your golf experience. We aim to build on this in 2022.
We had no choice but to embrace the challenges of the last 24 months and the disruption caused by the pandemic to over 110K of our golfers. This has helped us focus on improving the services we provide to our customers. We'd like to thank you all who have worked with us and gave constructive feedback during this unprecedented time. We have grown stronger in this time, and therefore our plans for 2022 / 23 and beyond will allow our customers to enjoy even more unique and unforgettable trips with YGT.
I am extremely proud that our team continues to go the extra yard for our customers. However, I realise that this might not have been enough for some, and we are now doubling down on our efforts to help in every way we can. We are all golfers ourselves and understand how important every itinerary and experience is to our travellers.

Finally, we have watched events in Ukraine in recent days with shock, horror and anger, and felt that we needed to do our small part to support their people.
