Our Story

Back in (2005) Ross Marshall and Andrew Harding met at university and shared a love for golf. They wanted to head to the fairways to play the best courses and were always the guys to organise their group society matches. This sparked the idea of Your Golf Travel.

Fast forward to today and we are now proudly the world's largest golf travel business, offering golf breaks and golf holidays to over 3,000 destinations in 22 countries throughout the UK, Ireland, Europe and the Rest of the World.

A one-stop-shop probably understates our programme, but it’s true that we aim to facilitate golf travel experiences from the basic, cheaper price point packages, through to real bucket list itineraries ticking off the world’s top-ranked courses.

Dear Your Golf Traveller,

I hope you and your family are safe and well.

As a valued customer, I wanted to write to thank you for your travelling with Your Golf Travel and to provide you with an update on some developments in our business over the last 18 months.

I should first recognise that this has been a particularly challenging period for us all but it has also highlighted the invaluable role that golf can play in helping us maintain both our mental and physical health. Of course, there is also the way that this great game allows us to reconnect with friends and family in a safe environment. Wherever you are, I truly hope you have been able to spend some quality time on the fairways.

During the pandemic, we have taken time to reflect on our business and how we must evolve to better serve you, our travellers.

Over the last few months, we have invested heavily in customer experience so that we can now provide a more concierge-style service, whilst staying committed to maximising the experience across all budgets. This allows our customers a single point of contact for each booking which will shorten response times and allow us to provide a service dedicated to individual groups.

We have also spent considerable time working with destinations and suppliers all over the world to secure better deals with more traveller benefits and exclusive extra yards for our golfers. Many of these travel benefits will be delivered through our industry-leading “YGT Key”, the first of its kind in unlocking benefits throughout your golf experience.

We have embraced these challenging times and the disruption caused by the pandemic to improve the services we provide to our customers and we’d like to thank you all who have worked with us during these unprecedented times. Our plans for 2022 and beyond will see our customers enjoy even more unique and unforgettable trips with us.

I am extremely proud that our team continues to go the extra yard for our customers but that being said, I realise that for some this might have not been enough at times, and we are now doubling our efforts to help in every way we can. We are golfers ourselves, so understand how important every itinerary and experience is to our travellers.

I’d like to leave you with my promise that whenever you choose to travel, whether that is soon or further into the future, we will be ready to serve you with our personal experience, industry-leading access to destinations and rewarding ‘extra yards’ as showcased in our new 'Golf Free with YGT' promotion.
