0800 043 6644Set against the striking backdrop of the Red Rock and Spring Mountain ranges, Angel Park's first course has been crafted out of the scrubland to amazing effect. The lush fairways and greens create a fantastic contrast with the pale local surroundings, all set at nearly 3,000 feet to offer fabulous views.
Designed by Arnold Palmer with assistance from Ed Seay, the Mountain Course is 6,722 yards at its peak, which is not particularly long by modern standards but is still a good test; the clever contouring around the greens places great emphasis on quality approach shots.
Also mapped out by the legendary Palmer, the Palm is comprised of some truly entertaining holes with great variety, including some devilish par-3s, dog-leg par-4s that call for careful planning and accuracy plus some genuine three-shotters.
Large putting surfaces and gaping hazards characterise the 6,525 yard layout, which offers visitors an extremely enjoyable test. The Palm is not overly long so is ideal for golfers in search of a relaxing round.
