What a gem this place is. The staff here are superb. We had a great time on our golf weekend. The course has variety that you will not see on most courses. The greens could do with some improvement however this overlooked by the rest of the experience with great staff, facilities and use of the pool, steam room and sauna etc. the restaurant and quality of food was a big highlight and would defo return.

The hotel is located on a large estate which gives it a wonderful country feeling. The staff are very friendly and helpful from your first encounter to the last. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The dining from your breakfast selection to the dinner was superb - my rump was perfect. I had a great visit and would highly recommend it.

It was okay. The room had no air con and no fan in the room and it was extremely hot. There was a wedding on that you kept needing to walk through to get to all the facilities. It was okay but not amazing. The golf course was very basic with only one par 5. No driving range or warm up facilities unless you used the one hitting bay on the small practise ground in the middle of the course. The putting and chipping areas were very small. The greens were very slow for this time of year. Also it says they have buggies when we got there the pro shop was closed and you had to dial a phone number if you wanted anything which was poor and also meant no one was keeping an eye on tee times. There were no buggies - they had one which was booked out for our whole stay which was very poor! The course was okay but again nothing amazing. Overall decent but I’d hope for a bit more in all honesty.

There was nobody checking our tee times on Sunday afternoon. The course was in good condition, but a bit to open, it will be better when the trees grow a bit. The greens were difficult to read but fast enough to be tricky.

It was a lot trickier than we thought it would be! Very enjoyable with some quirky holes! Way more interesting than we thought, only 1 par 5 and 6 par 3's but none of us played to our H'caps. Superb value for money, wouldn't hesitate to recommend 👍.

The course was a bit of a mixed bag. We had booked a buggy for one player only to be told on the day that it was broken and had been for weeks. The golf shop was only open on the Saturday morning. We were a group of 12 playing matchplay competition and we had a couple encouraged to join us on the tee (as booking system allows 4 bookings per tee off). Overall it's fantastic value for money and was a great course for us (handicaps 18 to 30). It feels like the golf is maybe the weakest aspect of the hotel's offering.

Knowledge of the course so nothing unexpected though didn’t help me much this year 😂.

The course isn’t challenging and the condition of the bunkers and greens could be better. But in terms of value for money for a golf stay this place is unbeatable. It’s ideal for anyone looking for a fun golf weekend away with friends.

I think if you play here after some good rains it would be a more enjoyable golfing experience. I am not going to penalise the club for having to endure a very hot and dry summer which left the course very hard, dry and sandy. The greens are tiny postage stamps so it will test your ability to stop a ball in the place you desire. Overall it's a great stay and play location and I would recommend it but check on how much rain they've had before going.

Lots of par 3’s and basic course. Very young course as the trees were very small. Only one par 5. Some nice or 3’s over water. Generally okay but didn’t blow me away at all. Second day we were rained off because of the weather. I don’t see any greenkeepers active over the two days.

Very open course with big greens, the course is quite short with some tricky holes thrown in. There is no proper driving range and the golf shop is very small with minimal products
