Not so much a hotel, but there are a handful of lodges on the course - with Breakfast being served in the Bar. The Lodges show a 5* plaque...and they are worth every one of those 5 stars. Obviously fairly new builds, but very spacious, clean and well thought out. Location wise perfect as well being just a few minutes walk from the club. All the staff were incredibly helpful - even bringing our room keys to us to save the question of "how do we check in". There was a slight issue with the drink pumps (the only reason for the 4 star mark) but that was dealt with promptly with great humour. DEFINITELY going to be coming back - probably with a group big enough to occupy all the lodges (5 I think)
Set in 120 acres of undulating countryside it's hard to believe that Bawburgh is on the outskirts of the City of Norwich. Offering outstanding views across a stunning valley down to the River Yare the course requires negotiating some demanding tee and green positions.
