Mytton Fold

The Mytton Fold course offers a very enjoyable test of golf to all golfers of varying abilities with the breathtaking Ribble Valley and Pendle Hill providing a quite a superb backdrop. The views on offer here at Mytton Fold are truly breath taking and one not to be missed. This 18 hole, par 72 parkland gem straddles the hillside and its many elevation changes require a good mastery of your iron game. A buggy is recommended as the walk can be quite taxing but no matter how you reach the summit of the course, you’ll be well rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the Ribble Valley, Forest of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales and out towards the coast and the distant Blackpool Tower.

Played there with Golf society for weekend 5th/ 6th and 7th July 2019 , walked on the Friday but was too demanding, so hired a buggy for Saturday/ Sunday Drinks were expensive in the Bar, although enjoyed the course , which was in good condition and the views from the top of the course were amazing over the Ribblesdale Valley

This course is on the side of a hill and has some uphill golf to contend with. The scenery is exceptional. My wife found that the course was very tough for ageing legs and a buggy is needed to enjoy the course fully.Good pro shop experience.

Enjoyable rounds. Very hilly and buggy essential! Fairways excellent and greens good but very slow! Not a long course but enough hazards to be wary of! Quite challenging really!

Poor signage around the course, two holes were off but we were not told which resulted in us looking for a tee that was not there.
