Accommodation at Best Western Plus The Fairway
The 58 rooms and suites at Le Fairway are spread across several categories, giving you a clear range of options depending on your budget, group size and how much you want the course to feature in your stay.
At the entry level, Classic rooms are comfortable and well-finished, with the kind of calm, neutral palette that makes it easy to switch off after a day on the course. They are a solid choice for societies where the priority is value and practicality rather than premium extras. Rooms are fitted out with quality bedding, good bathrooms and enough workspace to sort out the next day's tee times without sitting on the bed.
If views matter to your group, the golf-facing categories are the ones to target. Deluxe Golf View rooms make the most of the setting, with large windows that pull the fairways directly into the room. For couples, that adds a genuine sense of occasion, particularly on a summer evening when the light sits low over the course. For groups, it keeps you in the golfing atmosphere even when the clubs are back in the bag.
Higher up the room hierarchy, the Prestige Suites offer more space and a stronger sense of occasion. These work well for a group organiser who wants a bit more room to spread out, or for couples treating the trip as a proper short break rather than a functional golf stop. Private terraces are available in certain categories, which is the kind of upgrade that makes a real difference when the weather plays along.
Across all room types, the design is contemporary without being cold. The building's heritage bones give the rooms a sense of character that newer-build golf hotels often lack, and the attention to finish throughout means the accommodation holds up well against the wider 4-star market in northern France.
Food & Drink
The dining offer at Le Fairway is split across three distinct spaces, each with its own purpose and its own reason to use it.
The Albatros Restaurant is the main sit-down option and a strong on-site restaurant that adds real value to the stay. The kitchen draws on the local larder of northern France, a region that takes its food seriously, with rich dairy, freshwater fish and seasonal market produce giving the menu its backbone. Tables near the windows look out over the course, which makes the whole experience feel a bit more connected to the reason you are there in the first place. It is the right choice for a group dinner on the first night or a proper meal to round off the trip.
Le 19 is the easier call after a round. Named in the obvious way, it does the job well: a fireplace, relaxed seating and a drinks list that covers everything from a post-round beer to something more considered for the evening. It is the kind of bar where a quick drink turns into two hours without anyone noticing or minding, which is exactly what you want from a golf hotel bar.
The terraces are the third element and in warmer months they become the main draw. Large, open and overlooking the greens, they work well for an aperitif at dusk, a weekend brunch on the first Sunday of the month or simply a coffee before you head out to the first tee. In good weather, they are hard to beat.
Leisure Facilities
The Spa Cinq Mondes is a genuine part of the stay here, not just a token extra. Built around the Cinq Mondes Paris philosophy of treatments that draw on global traditions, from Balinese ritual to Japanese Ko Bi Do facial techniques, the spa offers five private treatment cabins alongside a full range of thermal and sensory experiences.
The centrepiece is the 12.5-metre indoor overflow pool, complete with a cascade waterfall. Around it you will find a jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, salt cave, ice fountain and sensory shower. As a recovery circuit after 18 holes, it is hard to argue with. As an afternoon of deliberate, unhurried relaxation for a non-golfing partner, it works just as well.
The treatment menu covers a wide range, from a Balinese flower ritual through to a full Japanese lifting facial, with options at various price points. The spa is open to hotel guests and to external visitors with treatment bookings, and a fitness room is available for those who prefer their recovery to involve a bit more effort. The spa terrace looks directly over the Arras Golf Course, which makes it a genuinely pleasant place to finish the day.
