0800 043 6644Blacknest Golf Club is home to a popular par-69 parkland golf course that measures a very playable 5,901 yards off the back tees. Just 10 minutes from Farnham and 30 minutes from Guildford, this mature course is a great addition to anyone looking for a great value golf break in Hampshire. Water is a key part of the defence at Blacknest with water featuring on no less than 14 of its 18 holes. The par-4 13th at 267 yards is certainly a scoring opportunity but with water awaiting any shot short of the putting surface a bogey is as likely as a birdie on this tricky hole. The par-3 14th is one of the most admired at Blacknest. Whilst it is only 136 yards in length, water will be found with any tee-shot falling left or short of the green while a bunker awaits on the right. With a requirement for accuracy off the tee and course management, playing to your handicap at Blacknest Golf Club is one that requires more skill than length off the tee. It is a good choice for a mix of handicaps and provides excellent value for money when playing golf in and around Surrey and Hampshire.
Those looking for a golf break in Hampshire can find both accommodation and an on-site golf course at Blacknest. Whilst only having 5 rooms at the hotel, the accommodation at Blacknest is comfortable and provides a nice setting within the mature Hampshire countryside.
With a Suite, 2 King Rooms and 2 Twin Rooms available there is a choice for couples and small groups alike. With rooms adopting names of local flora of Ash, Willow, Magnolia, Wisteria and Maple, guests can be assured a tranquil night's stay with views across the surrounding golf and country club.
Facilities enjoyed in the rooms include flat-screen TV, wifi, tea and coffee making facilities and modern shower room. Thus providing a perfect place to relax after a day on the course.

Pretty boring course really just ok.
Staff were very friendly, tee's and fairways did not have a lot of grass on them, greens were good, buggies were reasonably priced.
Course was not very good at all the rough was so long it made it almost impossible to find balls there wasn't really a fairway as this blended in with the rough as it was so long understand if they have had rain but this course obviously does not drain well and even the layout is a bit strange with fairways crossing over each other and tee boxes going 2 directions at the same time. Overall very unimpressed
Really disappointing course that golftravel book you on for the 2nd day. Would not recommend poor end to a good weekend
Greens not very good but overall a good test of golf.
Greens weren’t great and bunkers should have GUR. Very wet underfoot
Very muddy the course should have been closed due to the wet conditions but staff and facilities were brilliant would like to go back in the summer
After finding Blacknest closed due to weather, they did not have a booking for us at all but I rearranged Sunday for Blacknest. I had email confirmation of 2 rounds on each course but obviously this was not the case. This course was very wet underfoot and the tees were in terrible condition.
The course was nice but it was a shame the greens were getting aerated at the time we were playing which made it a lot less enjoyable to play.
For a relatively young course the condition was good overall particularly considering the dry summer this year. Although a fairly short course with several par three's the course design is enjoyable with water hazards on several holes. Condition of the greens were very good. We would certainly return to play here in the future.
