Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society is the 4th oldest golf club in the world and steeped in the best traditions and history of the game. The course was originally designed by Willie Park Jnr and later modified by Dr Alistair Mackenzie the architect of Augusta, Cypress Point and Royal Melbourne. Bruntsfield offers a challenging and well developed 18 Hole Par 71 mature parkland course with panoramic views over the Firth of Forth.
Bruntsfield hosts the 2015 Regional Open Qualifier this June, a great honour and testament to the course. The grand clubhouse offers excellent dining facilities, famous for Golfers Lunches which are often said to be on a par with those at Muirfield and Prestwick.
Bruntsfield has been the venue for several R&A and SGU championships, and in 2011, their 250th year, became a Regional Qualifying Venue for the Open Championship. But no matter what your golfing aspirations may be, you can be assured of a warm welcome to Bruntsfield.
