Builth Wells Golf Club is situated in the beautifully serene and peaceful mid-wales countryside. Founded in 1923, the course was originally a 9-hole set up, extending to its current 18-hole layout 63 years later in 1986.
On the outskirts of the of Bruith Wells, a quaint market town steeped in history, the course makes a great addition to any golfing tour of the area.

0800 043 6644The course consists of 12 par 4's and 6 par 3's, measuring just under 5,500 yards, there is a need for good course management and accuracy, as over powering par 5's isn't an option. The River Chewfri runs across the course, coming in to play on several holes it can be a real scorecard wrecker. The course has played host to numerous Golf Union of Wales events, evidencing its quality and status in the area, don't be fooled by the short yardage, it is a true test for all golfers.

Quirky golf course but enjoyed by the group. Not overly challenging but really fun and got you thinking! Worth a stop off if you are passing through. Pro on site was also very friendly and accommodating to the group.

Exceptionally nice pro. After playing Llandrindod Wells the previous day this was like a breath of fresh air. Generally flat, not too difficult and not too busy

Simon the Secretary and professional, was helpful, friendly and welcoming to what is a lovely golf course. On the short side but interesting and pretty.
