Bukit Jawi Golf Resort is home to two fantastic championship courses just 30 minutes from the Penang Island. The Hill and Lake Courses stay true to their names and offer visiting golfers different challenges, but are kept in extremely good condition.
Located back on the mainland near Sungai Jawi, the resort is easily accessible, with the Penang International Airport just a 50 minute drive along the North-South Expressway Jawi Interchange.

0800 043 6644Like the name suggests, the Hill Course is rife with elevation changes and undulation, which is synonymous with its surroundings as the resort is set on over 315 acres of mountain terrain. Playing at just over 6,800 yards, the course is by no means a monster but does require strategic golf and precise accuracy; tree lined fairways and several bunkers ensure this. Many of the holes are extremely memorable with the par 3s often shooting over water while the par-4 17th will test your putting skills on the fast, sloping, elevated green.

The Lake Course at Bukit Jawi naturally features more water hazards than its sister course, again highlighting the need for accuracy when playing here. From elevated tee boxes and greens, golfers will be afforded some majestic views over the resort, which are exceedingly special when the sun beams down onto the lakes. Some of the most impressive holes incorporate the water hazards with a bundle of other obstacles, leaving little room for error. The par-4 5th is a dogleg right, with forests on both sides while the par-3 15th features a daunting island green from a elevated tee.
