Cély Golf Club is a stunning course, manicured to perfection and ideal for a bit of holiday golf. It measures a respectable 6481, making it not too long and not too difficult, but you mustn’t get too complacent as you’ve still got to stay out of the visually imposing hazards which are scattered around the course.
The hilly and landscaped terrain was elegantly carved by golf course architects Marc Adam and Patrick Fromanger in partnership with the Jack Nicklaus Design company.
Despite the comparatively short yardage of the par-72 track, there are a couple of monstrous par-5s that call for three top shots to get on the green. The par-3s & 4s, on the other hand, require more skill than power.
In the heart of the clubhouse you will find the modern and elegant “Emerald Restaurant”; it serves up top-quality dishes which are constructed using only the freshest produce available from the market – a meal there is the perfect conclusion to a wonderful day of golf.
