0800 043 6644Chateau Golf d’Augerville weaves its way through beautiful ancient woodland and its beauty is matched by the immaculate playing surface. The course rolls majestically along with many elevation changes over its 6813 yard, par 72 layout, creating a unique challenge for even the best of golfers.
The course includes many water features, with abundant wildlife, including l’Essonne river which meanders through the property and contributes heavily to the dramatic finishing hole in front of the magnificent chateau.
Château d'Augerville is as grand as its name suggests, but that is only thanks to considerable restoration work that saw the hotel open for business in June 2006.
The intimate atmosphere throughout the chateau is a reflection of the mere 43 bedrooms, but the quality is there for all to see. There are three distinct room categories, but even the most ‘basic' is more than adequate, with lovely bedding and linen, warm tones and beautiful furniture and décor.
This is a truly beautiful destination for a golf holiday, where you can enjoy not only the terrific golf course, but the country charm of a high class chateau hotel.
Gastronomy is to the fore at Château D'Augerville; enjoy fine cuisine in the two restaurants, or sample one of the pastry chef's fabled delicacies, which include the produce of the on-site chocolate making kitchen.
Paris is established as a global culinary capital; among an endless list of restaurants and brasseries, Le Dôme is one of the best - quintessentially Parisian, the Art Deco dining room specialises in fresh seafood. Oysters and sole meunière (sole in butter, lemon and parsley) are firm favourites.
