Santander's Seve Ballesteros airport is just over 30 minutes away, there could not be a better-placed location for the Seve Ballesteros golf experiences here in his homeland on the Costa Verde, playing all of Seve’s designed courses.

Golf Courses at Comillas Hub, Abba Golf Apartments

Santa Marina Golf

An 18-hole, private, hillside course, designed by Seve himself. The course is as genius in design as Seve was a player. With Seve’s bronze statue seeing you off to the 1st tee and watching over your shot onto the green at the 9th and 18th holes, this course will be forever in your memory. With elevated tees, lots of water hazards and dog-legs to negotiate, this stunning course is well worth the challenge.

Santa Marina plays as a par-71, measuring 6,080 yards from the tips. The course is a fun, yet testing layout, definitely one to play in Costa Verde. The course features a driving range and a pitching and putting green. There is also a lovely restaurant in the clubhouse so you can grab a bite after your round.

Llanes Links

An 18-hole links municipal course, designed by Manuel Pinero. Set on stunning cliff-tops with mountains on one side and the sea on the other, with views all around that are absolutely breathtaking. Truly a golfers paradise.

Coming in at 6,920 yards from the tips, Llanes is lengthy but well worth it for the spectacular backdrop. There is a driving range and a pitching and putting green available to warm up on, plus a cafe and bar serving refreshments.

Real Pedrena Golf

Real Pedrena Golf is widely considered to up among the best courses in Spain, a must-play course in Costa Verde and the home club of one of the games all-time greats. The main course was designed by Harry Colt, with the 9-hole course being added later by Seve himself. The main course was Seve Ballesteros’s boyhood course where he turned Pro at just 16 years old. For those who follow the history of Spain’s greatest player, golf courses don’t get any better.

Rovacias Golf

A charming 9-hole executive parkland & hillside course. This course is well maintained and challenging as a short game warm-up or practice course. With views over the mountains and sea, this interesting short course is very enjoyable and a refreshing change of pace from the longer 18-hole options.

Golf Abra Del Pas

Found at the mouth of the River Pas, Golf Abra Del Pas is surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the Cantabrian coastline. A charming par-70 course that makes use of the sand dunes and trees to create a fun-filled round of golf. There are also extensive practice facilities on site, so you are able to tune up your game before a round.

The ideally situated golf apartments at the Comillas Hub are nicely appointed, boasting three rooms, two bathrooms, a lounge with a sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen. From the apartments, you can walk to the gorgeous Comillas Beach in 10 minutes, the same distance as the town centre. There are plenty of ways to relax on the resort, including a pool and tennis courts, all apartments feature a balcony or terrace if you prefer your own space.

Breakfast is included for the duration of your stay, for lunch and dinner there is a lovely restaurant on site, or you can make use of the apartments kitchen facilities, there is a supermarket within a 10-minute walk. All apartments come with complimentary free WiFi and unlimited use of the 9-hole executive course if you would like to tune up your game.
