Cowglen Golf Club

Cowglen Golf Club is a lovely parkland course located minutes from Glasgow City Centre and Glasgow airport.

The James Braid designed layout was established in 1906, with significant remodelling in 1994. The course offers golfers stunning views across the city combined with a stern test from the back tees but is also fair and enjoyable for all levels of golfers.

Described often as a "hidden gem", the course is beautifully presented and boasts some of the best practice facilities in the West of Scotland.

Cowglen Golf Course

The course at Cowglen contains interesting variations and some deceptively tricky challenges. A reasonably short course, requiring the golfer to play well to post a good score, it is built around a hill but it is not a tiring walk.

Several of the holes take advantage of the elevations. The eighth is a par five and standing on the tee on a good day you can see much of Glasgow with the green way below - a hole to unleash your meanest drive on.

The facilities at the course include a covered driving range and a short game area which is ideal for warming up before a round. The modern club house is a great place to relax with a drink and a snack after your round.
