All of the Cumberland's 106 bedrooms are decorated in a traditional fashion but are fitted and furnished with all the expected modern conveniences. The tremendous art deco style of the hotel is completed by one of the South coast's premier ballrooms, whose focal point is the striking central dome.
The Cumberland's enviable East Cliff location makes it a beautiful place to base yourself to enjoy Bournemouth and the area's golf.

We are now regulars at the Cumberland - a very nice quality traditional seaside hotel with good facilities, lovely attentive staff, and great breakfast buffet. Location very convenient. Parking limited but can use sister hotels or paid parking on road out front.

If I had to criticise anything then I would say an improved choice of menu’s in main restaurant. Overall exceptional value with a relaxing atmosphere friendly staff, in great location would recommend to anyone.

The staff were very nice and the breakfasts were fine but you need to book your time prior to arrival or you may end up with only 7.30 or 9.30 available. Parking is a problem although you have access to 3 car parks. There is no aircon which may not normally be a problem but is in a heatwave. The walls are very thin, we could hear next doors TV at 6am quite clearly.

Great location but they have nowhere near enough parking. Ended up parking on the street (and having to pay) on more than one occasion. Not ideal with clubs in the car!
