With the majority of the holes dominated by water hazards, it is a stern test for amateurs: take your A game or sink without trace. Miguel Angel Jimenez has re-designed several of the holes, notably the dog-leg par 4 at the eighth, his input marked by his hand prints on a plaque on the 8th fairway.
The 40 sqm Diamond Rooms offer guests enough space and comfort to make their stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are located at ground level and directly from the room leads to the private terrace overlooking the garden of the hotel complex.

Course was in top condition, the European Amateurs Championship was played there later in the week. Off the yellow tees the course measures 6,130 metres and lots of long straight drives required. Plenty of water to come into play, not just off tee and greens were fast and difficult to read. Good practice facilities, clear hole plan at each tee, pleasant venue for light lunch post round.
