The Diamond Golf & Country Club is the perfect gateway to discover Vienna and its surroundings, this amazing golfing destination is located just 50 minutes from Schwechat International Airport in the lower Austrian countryside.

The resort lies in the epicentre of Vienna’s golf region making it really easy to reach the other 3 elite golf courses between 40 and 50 minutes away. Jeremy Pern created a wonderful golf landscape on the unique Tullnerfeld. At the heart of the facility is the Diamond Course, an 18-hole championship course. Additionally, the 12 hole Diamond Country Course and the 9-hole park course unforgettable golfing moments around the centrally located, 10-acre lake.

Diamond Championship course

Laid out on flat terrain the Diamond Championship course was designed with tournament golf in mind by Englishman, Jeremy Pern. in 2002. With the majority of the holes dominated by water hazards, it is a stern test for amateurs: take your A game or sink without trace. Miguel Angel Jimenez has re-designed several of the holes, notably the dog-leg par 4 at the eighth, his input marked by his hand prints on a plaque on the 8th fairway.

Accommodation at Diamond Golf & Country Club

The 40 sqm Diamond Rooms offer guests enough space and comfort to make their stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are located at ground level and directly from the room leads to the private terrace overlooking the garden of the hotel complex.

The Diamond Apartments built over 2 levels with their own bedroom. the Diamond Apartments are 60 sqm also have their own small kitchen with stove and refrigerator, to even spend a cozy evening in the room. Enjoy the sunset on your private terrace overlooking the garden of the hotel complex.

Course was in top condition, the European Amateurs Championship was played there later in the week. Off the yellow tees the course measures 6,130 metres and lots of long straight drives required. Plenty of water to come into play, not just off tee and greens were fast and difficult to read. Good practice facilities, clear hole plan at each tee, pleasant venue for light lunch post round. Pretty flat terrain but holes used water and other features to differentiate
