0800 043 6644Water is the main obstacle around Dudsbury; in fact there are only four holes on which water does not interfere, so tactical plotting is the way to safely build a good score. The course measures 6,904 yards from the championship markers, and although it is a pretty easy walk, it is a formidable challenge.
However, with a variety of tees designed to accommodate all visitors equally, Dudsbury is a true pleasure. With sand-based greens that are constructed in accordance with USGA principles, the parkland course should be in fine fettle throughout the year.

This hotel was completely let down by the lack of communication on the golf front. The hotel was nice, staff very pleasant, but failure to tell us the course was shut was just pitiful. Along with Your Golf Travel who completely ignored their duty to inform us of anything, a pretty bad stay!!
Very good, warm friendly staff, Spa facilities very good.
The Spa was amazing, loved it. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The double bed was huge and comfortable. Lots of room comforts such as tea/coffee/water/fridge etc. Really clean. Bar/conservatory restaurant food was ok. Nachos were the best thing on the menu.
The hotel staff and facilities was good, but there was no lunchtime food, only crisp and nuts. evening food had to be pre order the day before and not a good selection.
It’s a little bit old but very clean and good value
No choice of food on the Friday night, only allowed to use the pool sauna after 16:00. Staff did there best though
Nice hotel with good facilities
Excellent all round at the hotel. Good clean rooms. Bar and all food was great quality and all the staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended
From the moment we booked in as a group of eight we were very well looked after. The food choices were good, for both evening meal and breakfast. Well presented meals and enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable. Overall a great stay and would certainly return.
Rooms were comfortable and clean.
comfterble
Clean and good location. Overall the hotel felt a bit dated and in need of a revamp. Food was no more than average but the rooms were perfectly acceptable. Great showers. For a golf break a perfect place for one night.
Been to DUDSBURY before great to go back everything ideal for our weekend break good hotel and pretty challenging golf course with variety of holes and plenty WATER.
From arrival until leaving customer service was exemplary. Top class location excellent food and Greens to die for.
As part of a group of 12 golfers we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food and accommodation was excellent and would recommend to anyone considering a visit.

Dudley Golf Club and Spa is a wonderful place to stay, relax and play golf. The course itself is both challenging and rewarding and boasts a handful of fantastic views. The 12th, 15th and 16th are particularly noteworthy. There is a covered driving range and short game area as well so no excuses for not warming up!

Should you wish to relax after or before golf, the spa is fantastic, with a comfortable atmosphere and quality equipment. It really is as good as it appears in the photos so should the rain and wind keep you off the course, there is plenty to do!

The accommodation is clean and simple, with everything you'd expect from a modern hotel present and correct in the guestrooms. Another positive is that the members of staff are friendly and professional and the food is fantastic too; particularly the breakfast!

My last plus is the beer they have on draft in the bar - a local brewery in Ringwood that knows its stuff...the Forty Niner is a must!

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return in 2015.

Played this course before, a good test in good condition
Half the course was shut due to rain 3 days before we turned up caused the banks to burst. After no rain in the night the whole course ended up being shut!! It is located right on the river Stour and therefore will suffer if there is significant rain. One to avoid in the autumn/ winter months. The front nine seemed quite nice otherwise!
We were only able to play nine holes each day because there was lots of water on the course and we were unable to have buggies. It is a long course for ladies of our age!! We would go back in the Spring or Summer and thoroughly enjoy it.
Course was really picturesque and in good condition. Rounds were a bit slow probably due to there being quite a few non-regular golfers on the course looking for balls as the ditches, trees and water hazards sometimes made play quite challenging. Good practice range. Charming and helpful starter. All staff were great and members also very welcoming.
Nice course, well kept, quite a few GUR bunkers but otherwise a harder than average course which we all enjoyed.
Great greens course can get very wet
Just a bit tatty everywhere, greens very poor. Luck of the draw I know but weather was grim.
The weather didn't help with rain and strong wind very open in places on the back 9, but enjoyed the four rounds of golf.
Dudsbury was very nice however when we were scheduled to tee off a club competition had been arranged for the same time which involved 10 single matches, this delayed us by 90 minutes, very disappointing.
Very nice and good wildlife on the course
Quite an Interesting course could do with better signs
Very nice parkland course, linked to a hotel so busy with groups but enjoyed it & wasnt too challenging for a group of mixed handicappers
Very nice, very busy course with a lot of shots over water. Greens slow probably to protect against amount of use
Everyone in our group really enjoyed the course and the club, to the extent that I will be re-booking for 2022.
As a group of eight ladies with a wide range of handicaps this was a testing course. Although there is a lot of water, ditches and bunkers there are always escape routes. The course was in good condition, the greens a little slow but for a social weekend of golf it was great.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would like to give a big thank you to the staff in the hotel for cooking us a breakfast at 7am (7.30 tee time), when they normally do breakfast from 7.30.
The course was in good condition and the group had a great day. Staff we’re really good.
Far too busy-no marshalls, very slow round and all tee times runnning about 20 minutes late. Alot of non golfers playing. Would not recommend
A good parkland course, not too difficult , shame the early holes greens are covered with geese poo, which can't help the quality.
As a two ball we were put behind a Society of 24 men - as a result the round took 5 hours and it was during the heatwave. They had run out of buggies so we had to walk. The course however is very nice and quite challenging and the pro shop staff very friendly.
Fairly difficult course as the height of the first cut made it difficult to find your ball. Pro shop staff and course Marshall were excellent.
Interesting course but round was slow. Good food and service after the round in the clubhouse
All good accept buggys weren't reserved
Nice course but super slow round and played 18th in the dark. We queued on all but 2 tees
Nice course with hidden hazards and lots of water !!
Fantastic course, great design and layout. Lots of water and a tough but fair challenge. Would really recommend a visit.
nice course to play !
Long but fair and again high and low handicaps can score
A top quality challenging course in good condition.
No buggies on the course the day we played ,to wet ! they ran out off trolleys it is a long course to carry , but our party would to a man play it again. I would like to thank YGT for a great week of golf .
Perfect start to a golf tour..... parkland layout.
Course caters for all levels. Very pretty undulating and demanding good shot making. Lakes and streams make it challenging to keep in play and needs good course management.
Some very interesting holes. Wide fairways.Excellent greens and a very fair test of golf for all handicaps.
In truth the course was clearly suffering from an out of character summer season. The extremely dry summer months has taken its toll on the fairways but their aren't many courses that haven't suffered this year. DON'T take this as a reason not to visit. This course has some great holes and you definitely have to think your way around this place. I would love to go back and play this again when the fairways have recovered, which they will. On the whole, a very good venue and great value for money.
