Estepona Golf

The 18 holes at Estepona are stretched over gorgeous, undulating Spanish countryside that is peppered with eucalyptus and olive trees. Measuring under 6,500 yards from the back tees, Estepona is not long by modern standards but still presents an enjoyable challenge to golfers of all abilities while offering stunning sea views from all over the course. The fairways are relatively generous meaning you can open your shoulders from the tee but accuracy is required from the fairway. The perfect putting greens are very large so errant approach shots could well lead to a three putt. Featuring a great variety of holes and some impressive par 3s, Estepona is sure to live long in the memory.

A relaxing and friendly atmosphere pervades throughout the club and golfers can also enjoy stunning sea views from all over the course. Recent renovation to the clubhouse has provided golfers with the perfect place to relax and refuel after a day on the fairways. Just moments from the lovely coastal town of Estepona, and within easy reach of Marbella, this picturesque course is a classic Costa Del Sol golf holiday option.

Transfer would not wait for 5 mins as 3 of the group were late . It cost an extra 75 Euros in a Taxi to reach Estepona GC. Played 1 hole and play suspended due to rain, we waited for 1 hour and called the transfer company to request an earlier pick up. They could not oblige so it cost an extra 15 Euros PP to travel by 3 taxies back to the Hotel

All of the fairways are sloping - very tough course

Big mistake coming here. We had diesel Buggies from the war years the steep buggy paths we felt were very unsafe don't think they would pass H S over here -- Must be struggling to make the course pay --the layout of the holes /course was ok but you were nervous about getting to them in one piece. Clubhouse was poor so we left early.

This course lacked TLC and was in poor condition apart from the greens - I played it many years ago and was so sad to see it in this state

The course was very dry as no rain since March. Buggies a must. Greens ok.

Course had suffered under the summer heat. Liked the surrounding planting though.

One of the older courses I think, and the distance between finishing a hole and getting to the next one is massive. The course itself has some fantastic holes either down hill or uphill with lots of differences. Lovely course but of the four we played the worst conditioned fairways with it being a bit patchy but the Greens were great.

Course was more like our municipal courses. Not so difficult as others but some still tricky holes because of the steep fairways. Nice clubhouse and shop. Very enjoyable.

Has very good holes, but the poor state of the fairways lets the course down
