Set in the beautiful Faithlegg Estate, Paddy Merrigan's excellent layout was officially opened in 1993. Though not especially long, the challenge at Faithlegg is to negotiate the strategically positioned bunkers and the tricky undulations on the putting surfaces.

The course was very busy with large societies on the course. Only problem here was the fact we were given the wrong ree time. We had 10.30 should have been 9.50. This coursed problems with the societies. The staff were very accommadating and fitted us in between 2 societies. Albeit one and a half hours late.

This course has improved over the years. It takes you to a different world and offers a tastey challenge. Playing in perfect conditions helped and a free ice cream when we finished for everyone in honour of the sun added to the experience. It is right up there and having 39 points increased my liking of it.
