Farthingstone Golf Course
The parkland course measures 6,299 yards from the championship tees, which is not long relative to many modern courses, but hazards in the shape of dense woodland and treacherous water make good scoring a considerable challenge. The fairways follow the natural undulations of the land, and the greens are superbly constructed, with subtle contours demanding the closest attention.
Opened in 1973, Farthingstone has now matured nicely into one of the area's most highly-regarded courses, nestled deep in the heart of an area of outstanding beauty.
