Fortwilliam Golf Club is nestled in the suburbs of North Belfast. Situated off the Antrim Road, the area is surrounded by beautiful views of the Cavehill to the north-west and the Lough of Belfast to the east. A short 25-minute drive to the airport makes it the perfect place to experience a game of golf on the outskirts of the vibrant capital - Fortwilliam can be paired with a number of Championship courses in the area, making it a tour to remember.

The welcoming clubhouse offers guests and members the opportunity to experience the terrific scenery whilst enjoying a drink & snacks post round. On a brighter day, you may be lucky enough to see as far as the Scottish coastline.

Fortwilliam Golf Club

Measuring just over 6000 yards, Fortwilliam Golf Club is a lengthy par 70 featuring tree-lined fairways and small greens. Its challenging nature will prove a test for golfers of differing ability – with holes varying in layout, you will be required to move the ball both ways in order to pick up points.

Fortwilliam has hosted many qualifying events and pro-ams over the years. The 18th hole, with out of bounds down the right, fairway sloping in the same direction and many trees narrowing it requires the perfect tee shot in order to give yourself a chance of hitting the green in two. Not an easy finish to a round by any means and it doesn’t get much easier once you are on or around the green.
