Golf Club de Sierre is a picturesque 18-hole golf course nestled within 55 hectares of lush Swiss countryside. It was originally laid out as a 9-hole course by the golf architect duo of Maurice Bembridge and Michel Zufferey, but was later extended to an 19-hole layout by Alain and Jean-Claude Renggli.
Today, from the back tees, the course stretches to 6,345 yards and plays to a par of 72. Each hole brags astonishing views of the Alps and surrounding areas – including rare species of trees, fauna and flora. Golf Club de Sierre provides a fair but challenging test of golf, with plenty of bunkers and water hazards to avoid along the way – the aim is to keep the ball straight if you’re looking to score low.
The Club is also able to boast a high quality club house which houses a superb restaurant and bar. The restaurant provides a terrific terrace for guests to sit when the weather is good, a varied cuisine (including a selection of local and international dishes) and an extensive wine list. You are guaranteed to find a warm reception from the dedicated and friendly staff.
