The refurbishment has transformed Lille Metropole into a full length, challenging prospect that will certainly test low handicappers, whilst it remains accessible to the average visitor thanks to a good selection of tee boxes.
Part of the regeneration of the club includes a new clubhouse, which remains under construction; while this detracts slightly from the 19th hole, it has no bearing on what is a truly excellent modern championship course, and one which should certainly be a part of a good Lille golf tour itinerary.
