Golf de Rochefort

Golf de Rochefort has an undulating par-71 layout that stretches to around 6,250 yards from the back pegs, making it the ideal length for the holidaying golfer looking for a relaxing round. It is by no means the most complicated of courses, but it still requires strong shot making skills and a cool temperament to score well around this picturesque golf course.

The complex is also able to boast an extensive range of practise facilities, consisting of a 17 bay driving range (3 of which are sheltered) as well as a superb putting and chipping area.

After an enjoyable round of golf you must head to the fantastic clubhouse where you will find the exquisite restaurant named “The Albatross”. Open all year round, it serves up a fantastic range of both regional and international delicacies, whilst also providing you with magnificent views across the Valley of Chevreuse.

Amazing location, routing and conditions of the course. We aren't used to playing on such tight courses, so it gave us all a test that we didn't expect. The play was extremely slow. It took us 5+ hours to complete the round. We were slotted in behind a corporate outing tournament that the pro shop didn't inform us of while checking in. There were times when there were three groups on a tee box waiting to tee off. It took till the 11th hole till we spotted someone from the course out checking on play and it didn't matter. I would recommend this course but make sure you aren't behind a corporate outing. The course is difficult enough without slow play making it worse.
