Make your base at the exquisite Chateau de Chailly, or the traditional Golf Hotel du Manoir de Beauvoir, both of which are striking architecturally, and offer an excellent all-round package. Poitou-Charentes’ magical landscape is lilttered with charming villages and towns, while Burgundy is best known for its wine – be sure to sample some locally produced Beaujolais and Chablis. While the Central region is not bursting with golfing options, there are some great courses, and the region’s cultural and historical make it a fascinating holiday destination with an added dimension.
