The layout was conceived by Ronald Fream, the American course designer who is behind a number of prestigious projects in southern Europe, and his work at l'Isle Adam makes it certainly one of the area's best.
Opened in 1994, the course stretches close to 7,000 yards from the back pegs, and, bordered by mature woodland before giving way to a spacious plateau, l'Isle Adam is a beautiful and demanding test that comes highly recommended for any golf break around Paris.
