H10 Las Palmeras

Great location

The staff at the hotel were delightful. We were originally given a -1 floor room on the street side, this was extremely noisy due to busy bars and restaurants being open until very late. There were large amounts of noise until 5am. We menitoned this to the hotel staff and the next day were moved to a much less noisy room. This was dealt with extremely swiftly and the room we were moved to was much nicer, with a lovely view and we could barely hear any external noise. There is alot to do around the area, many bars/food locations, a direct walk along the sea from the hotel. Other than that, the location was great for playing Golf Las Americas. It is a bit further away from Amarialla, Costa Adeje and Golf Del Sur. Taxis were easy to get, situated right outside the hotel. In total spent around 250-280 euros on taxis to go to all courses and to/from the airport. If we were not in the noisy room to begin with I would have given x4 stars for this hotel!

Ok, Reception staff could have been slightly more polite, I thought the food was average at best, no milk anywhere at breakfast, fairly average selection.

H10 Las Palmeras was ideal for our group of 4. We had two junior suites that had very comfortable twin beds and a separate seating area that was ideal for storing our golf bags and cases, etc. The breakfast buffet spread was really good, lots of choice and very decent quality given its a big hotel serving lots of people at once. On site there is a big Irish bar that had good music and was an ideal place to return to for a night cap after our evening meals. Location is fairly central within Playas - walk east bound towards Goldenn Mile and its really quite nice - decent restaurants, shops and bars. Heading west its a bit more downmarket and more like the Playas De las Americas of yesteryear (think mobility scooters, full english for £4 type of bars :-), but we had an afternoon in that direction and still had a good time. Overall we would certainly use this hotal again.

Ok. So it’s ok. But only ok. The AI only includes the buffet and 2 dinners at on of each of the al a carte restaurants on site so for a 10 night stay the food is average and very similar buffet for 8 nights . Room : cleaners don’t empty the rubbish or replace cups or refill the Tray until prompting. Cleaning of the Bathroom was non existent until we complained . Paint crumbling from our ceiling. They repaired it. The bathroom also had an odour that smell - it looked like they had relocated the toilet and had left the soil pipe in the floor and covered it poorly. Location was central and near the nightlife so good for a group of golfers. Pool area attractive and the pool bar good with excellent staff.
