Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife is a proper "everything in one place" resort in Playa Paraíso, ideal if you want winter sun golf with zero faff once you've checked in. You're an easy 20-minute transfer from Tenerife South Airport, Las Galgas Beach is about an eight-minute stroll and you've got two of the island's headline courses close by: Golf Costa Adeje and Golf Las Americas, both around 15 minutes by car.

The vibe is lively, modern and very Hard Rock, think big evenings, strong dining and plenty going on around the pools. If you're travelling as a couple you can keep it chilled (spa, rooftop sunset drinks, adults-only pool time), while groups and societies will like the choice of bars, late-night entertainment and the fact you don't need to head out to find atmosphere.

All-inclusive packages are available, which can be a smart shout for groups who want to keep the budgeting simple and avoid the constant wallet shuffle. Golf-wise, it's a great base for mixing resort comfort with a couple of contrasting rounds, then coming back to a proper wind-down session in the spa or a cold beer on your terrace.

Who is this for?
Golf groups and couples who want Tenerife sunshine, short transfers to top courses and a resort with proper evening atmosphere.

Who is it best for?
Societies and mixed groups seeking an all-inclusive golf break with variety, energy and a lively social scene, particularly those who value strong dining options and entertainment on-site after golf.

Accommodation at Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife

The hotel's 365 rooms and 259 suites are split between two towers, Oasis and Nirvana, and both are modern, glossy and finished with the bold Hard Rock styling you'd expect. The basics are spot on for a golf week: comfortable beds, proper showers with decent pressure and terraces where you can sit with a post-round beer and let the day settle.

Deluxe Rooms are the entry-level option and they're perfectly adequate for couples or solo travellers, with garden or partial sea views depending on which floor and wing you're in. If you want more space to spread out, step up to a Studio or Rock Suite. Many of these come with a hydro-massage tub, which is genuinely useful after 36 holes in the sun, not just a gimmick. The suites also give you a bit more separation between sleeping and sitting areas, handy if one of you wants an early night and the other fancies a nightcap on the terrace.

For those who like their mornings bright and their views big, Rock Royalty rooms on the higher floors are the ones to ask about. These come with private lounge access, dedicated butler service and panoramic views that stretch out over the coast. The lounge itself is a quieter spot for breakfast if you want to avoid the main buffet rush, and the butler team can sort tee time confirmations, restaurant bookings and any other bits you'd rather not queue for at reception.

Storage is fine in all room categories, there's enough wardrobe and drawer space for a week's worth of kit plus golf shoes and waterproofs. The terraces are furnished and south-facing in most cases, so you'll get sun from mid-morning through to late afternoon. If you're the type who likes to sit out with a coffee and go through the card from the day's round, you'll use it more than you think.

One practical note: if you're light sleepers, it's worth mentioning at booking that you'd prefer a room away from the main pool and entertainment areas. The evening vibe can be lively, which is great if you're in the thick of it, less so if you're trying to get your head down at 10pm.

The hotel's ten dining and drinking venues cover a wide range of cuisines and moods, so you're not going to get bored over a week. Montauk is the standout for meat lovers, serving prime cuts cooked over hot coals in a classic steakhouse setting. If you've had a good day on the course and fancy celebrating with a proper ribeye, this is where you go. The meat is quality, the sides are generous and the wine list is strong enough to match.

Narumi brings the precision and artistry of Japanese cuisine, think sushi, sashimi and teppanyaki done properly rather than the westernised versions you sometimes get in resort hotels. Suena Chido delivers vibrant Mexican flavours with bold spicing and fresh ingredients, ideal if you want something punchy and a bit different mid-week.

The Beach Club focuses on healthy, organic dishes with ocean views, perfect for a lighter lunch between rounds when you don't want to feel sluggish on the back nine. Sessions is the all-day buffet restaurant and it's better than most resort buffets, with live cooking stations, international dishes and enough variety that you can eat there multiple times without repeating yourself. Breakfast is comprehensive, covering everything from full English to lighter continental options, and it's served early enough that you can fuel up and still make an 8am tee time.

For a more casual vibe, the 3rd Half sports bar serves Tex-Mex favourites alongside premium drinks, with big screens showing live sport throughout the day and evening. It's the natural spot for groups to gather after golf, especially if there's a big match on or you just want somewhere relaxed to debrief the round.

The jewel in the dining collection is The 16th, a vast rooftop sky lounge where creative cocktails, live music and Atlantic sunsets combine to create one of the resort's most memorable settings. Whether you're celebrating a good round or simply soaking up the atmosphere, this venue captures the Hard Rock spirit without feeling forced or gimmicky. The cocktail menu is inventive, the DJ sets are well-pitched and the view at sunset is genuinely special.

Beyond golf and dining, the resort's leisure facilities cater to every mood. Three outdoor pools offer different experiences: the family-friendly Splash and Lagoon pools provide space and activity for groups with kids or anyone who likes a livelier pool scene, while the adults-only Eden pool delivers a quieter, more tranquil environment if you want to read a book or just float in peace.

The Rock Spa is a comprehensive wellness centre and it's worth blocking out a few hours mid-week to make proper use of it. The thermal water circuit includes hot and cold plunge pools, saunas, steam rooms and a unique snow cabin that's surprisingly refreshing after a long round in the heat. The treatment menu covers everything from sports massages (genuinely useful for golfers with tight shoulders or lower back niggles) to full spa rituals if you're after something more indulgent. The music-infused massages are a signature touch, where the therapist tailors the session to a specific genre or tempo, which sounds gimmicky but actually works well.

Stay active at the Body Rock gym if you want to keep up your fitness routine, it's well equipped with modern cardio and weights kit and there's enough space that it never feels crowded. Rock Om in-room yoga sessions provide a more mindful option, while the resort's activity programme includes basketball, mini-golf and other recreational pursuits if you fancy a break from serious golf.

Entertainment runs throughout the day and into the evening, with live bands, DJ sets and special events creating an electric atmosphere that keeps the energy high long after the sun goes down. If you're the type who likes a lively resort with plenty going on, you'll be in your element. If you prefer peace and quiet after dinner, the adults-only pool area and the spa provide easy escapes.

accomadation was good £9 euros a pint very steep on site other than that very good clean and tidy

Great hotel let down by the cost of drinks and location. Included breakfast is very good but it only opens at 8-00 am so not ideal for early starts. €9 for a small glass of beer is extortionate. We decided not to eat at night in the hotel for fear running up a national debt. To find a decent restaurant means at €30 plus taxi ride.

One of the best hotels on T.

The rooms were spacious with a large shower and jacuzzi bath. Great views out to sea. The hotel happily made up the sofa bed to give us 2 double beds. Breakfast was great. The sky bar had a great view over Costa Adeje, but the prices were very expensive, 9 Euros for a beer and eye watering 21 euros for a gin and tonic. Similarly expensive for the specialty restaurants, so we ate off site.

A very lively hotel with excellent facilities. Music morning until night and mostly good quality live performances. Several good pools. The location is a bit out of the way and there is a limited range of bars, shops etc around the hotel.
