The 7,445 yard, par 71 course is a true championship course makes its way over marshland and rocky outcrops then through the forest. The dramatic layout will test every aspect of your golf game no matter what level you play at. It is rare to play a course that fundamentally changes in style as you play it.

One thing you will notice is that the fairways at Hills Golf Club are very generous and tempt you to hit driver from most tees. You will also notice that a wild swipe with the big dog won’t help you, strategy and intelligent golf is required to avoid well-placed hazards and bunkers. The first hole begins in a beautiful natural amphitheatre and dramatic tees on top of rock outcrops are some of the architectural gems at Hills Golf Club. This is a unique course and one that is difficult to describe to those who have never played it. One of the standouts is the back-to-back par three stretch of the 5th and 6th holes. It’s so rare to see back to back short holes so enjoy this unique experience.

The practice facilities are comprehensive and you can certainly work on every shot in your bag at Hills Golf Club. You have no excuse not to be fully ready to go by the time you get to the first tee with what’s on offer here. The pro shop is a good size and has everything you need before you play. Here you can also arrange a golf cart or trolley if you would like one.

The clubhouse facilities are luxurious and have the added traditional Swedish feature of a sauna, a great way to relax after your round. The food on offer at the club is wonderful and a great way to finish off your day. You can discuss your round over some beers and delicious food. You can even sit on the patio which sits above the course and watch the players coming up the final hole.
