Hotel Las Madrigueras Golf Resort & Spa

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff if all you wish to do is golf. The hotel is somewhat isolated and you cannot walk to cafes or bars. The hotel was bought over on 1 Feb so is going through a transitional period. Could not buy any non alcoholic gin only beer they had run out and did not acquire any!

An exceptional hotel with wonderful staff who accomodated every need. Beautiful, peaceful location. Golf course and the caddymaster were excellent.

The hotel is very attractive, built in colonial style. It is very well maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are very helpful, friendly and courteous. Breakfasts provide an excellent start to the day with a huge choice of cooked dishes and an extensive buffet. The grounds are very tranquil, amidst palm trees and succulent plants. The hotel has private access to Golf las Americas, with buggies available from the hotel basement. This hotel is a gem!

Absolutely amazing. Pure luxury from the minute you walk through the door. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. They have thought of everything to make your stay special

Wonderful hotel built in colonial style. Large rooms and balconies. Staff, service and restaurant were perfect. Great views and will certainly recommend to our friends. This is a gem and we will return.

A lovely, adults only hotel, right on the golf course (with complimentary buggy if you've booked a round or more); calm,quiet,comfortable. BUT our room (28) got no sunlight at any time of day, the patio was shrouded by shrubbery and definitely had no view of the golf course (or anything else)! As we were there for five nights, it was galling to see others arrive after us in upstairs rooms with balconies as shown on the website. DO NOT accept a ground floor room. The pool bar is quite well covered, the piano bar in the evening very poorly covered - one harassed and slightly stroppy waiter doing too much!We'll go again but be much firmer about the room we accept before departure!

This is a very good hotel. Especially for golfers. The only hic cup was No car arrived for transfer to hotel.

Fantastic hotel. Big rooms with lovely views over the pool area and sunset. Adults only hotel. Breakfasts on the balcony overlooking the pool area. Reception staff were really helpful. We booked extra golf & they prepared the vouchers. They also recommended really good restaurants which are a short taxi ride away. Taxis 30 metres away at the end of the road. Easy access to Playas golf Course, collect the buggy from level -2 then drive over using your room key to open the gates. Food and drinks very fairly priced.

No faults with standard and service. Definite 5* Certainly suits the 'older' couple. Maybe a little quiet/staid but still very comfortable. The access to the course from the Buggy garage and Clubs store is a massive plus. No heaving bags bag to and from rooms every day. Restaurant Menu doesn't change much and so on a B&B booking doesn't encourage 'eating in' every night. Breakfast is good! All staff very helpful from Porter to Concierge. Will go again.

Overall good hotel but with a lack of direction. Problems not always resolved with no feedback from reception and the manageress was never seen in 10 days. She was there but always out of site. First time I have stayed in a 5 star hotel and not seen (usually met) the GM. Proximity to golf a real plus.

The hotel, service, facilities and golf were first class, we will definitely be going back to Las Madrigueras again!!

Very comfortable rooms, excellent breakfasts and dinner with reasonable wine prices. Pleasant position and very good pool area and sun beds. Staff exceptional. Good reasonably priced taxis. Reception willing to recommend local restaurants as well. Unfortunately we had to use the local Hospiten Sur for one of our party a few miles away- absolutely first class attention over a week for one of our party.

Not quite 5 star but the staff do their best and are very helpful. The restaurant is really lovely, food delicious. Very good set up for golfers.

Exactly as you'd expect from a five star resort. All luggage delivered to our room on arrival. Friendly check-in where we were given keys to personal lockers for golf equipment and a buggy key, as the hotel kept its own buggies that could be used at any time for travel between the hotel and the course. The room was large with a beautiful veranda overlooking the golf course. All facilities in the room were of high quality and maintained daily. The pool area was spotless with comfortable sunbeds with towels provided. The restaurants and bars were a little pricey but no more than you might expect on a resort hotel. The inclusive breakfast was ample and covered everyone's taste from cooked breakfasts to cold meats, cereals and fruits. Transfers from the airport were only around twenty minutes and cost 30euros. The downside for us is that the hotel is used predominantly by retirees (in our late forties we were still the youngest group by twenty-plus years!!!). This hotel would definitely not suit young or lively groups as there are strict dress codes and noise policies in place. You could not play your own music by the pool, even a mobile phone on low volume!! I believe this hotel would best suit people looking for a quiet stay at a resort hotel away from the night life. I would consider returning again but not for at least twenty years!

Hotel was perfect . Great for the golf . But it was not a nice walk to get anywhere else .

This is a very welcoming and high quality hotel. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, and the bathrooms are well equipped. The staff are all very friendly and courteous without being overbearing. The menu has plenty of choice and the breakfasts and dinners are very good. The hotel has direct access to the Las Americas golf course. This is a superb place to stay for a golf holiday.

A wonderful hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the layout was well thought out. Down the lift, clubs from the locker room, loadthe buggy and off you go! The golf course was very fair ( although I could not read the greens all week- fast with very subtle borrows). We got taxis down to Critianos and they were about €5 a time but we did get charged €8 on one occasion and the cab drivers do need watching! Food in the hotel and golf club was very good. Evening meal with wine about €55 each. I look forward to going again!

This is an excellent hotel, situated less than a 20 minutes drive from Tenerife Sud airport, a 5 minutes taxi ride from the nearby town, and on the doorstep of the very attractive and well maintained golf course. The hotel is very comfortable and attractive. Our bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The catering was of a high standard and the menu was sufficiently extensive to give a good choice of dishes for at least the whole week whilst I was there. The restaurant and bar were quite expensive but no more than would be expected of a five star hotel. The staff were all very welcoming, helpful and courteous. I would have no hesitation in booking to stay there again for another golfing holiday.
