Accommodation at Hotel Regente Aragon

Hotel Regente Aragon is perfectly geared for families and offers numerous different room options that cater to your every need. The ‘Family Room’ has a maximum capacity of four people and is ideal for those with young children. The ‘Suite Nenufares’ is the hotel’s best room and with a capacity of 2 people it is ideal for couples who are looking for a romantic getaway. On the terrace there is a fabulous jacuzzi and is covered so it can be enjoyed all throughout the year. Every room contains Air conditioning, free wifi, mini bar and safe. Moreover, away from the rooms guests will also not be disappointed with the standard of food at the hotel. The restaurant menu incorporates food from all over the world such as, Lebanon, Thailand, Mexico and Spain. The signature dish at the hotel is the pita bread with duck and pear so be sure to try this delicious dish. The wine bar also offers an extensive range of wines from all over the world giving you the perfect accompaniment to your evening meal, the bar also serves a brilliant light lunch during the day.

Hotel Regente Aragon is in a fabulous location. The airport is just 6 miles away making it accessible from numerous countries. The best beach in the area is also just a 10 minute walk away and 10 minutes in the other direction is a half a mile long beach making it perfect for families, couples and groups to relax and soak up the beautiful sunshine. The hotel is also just 7.5 miles from the stunning city of Tarragona which is World Heritage Site and thanks to its Roman features is one to admire. The biggest attraction is the Gothic Cathedral which dates back to the 1100s and it's truly incredible stained glass windows are a spectacle to behold before you even go inside.

In addition to this, fun can be found for the whole family at one of the many nearby theme and water parks that surround the hotel. Just 1 mile away from the hotel is Aquopolis which is a water park and is sure to be a great day out. Salou is also well renowned for being a superb nautical sports resort and the crystal blue waters of the mediterranean provide the perfect environment for those looking to practice their sailing, windsurfing or jet skiing. There is also a thriving underwater ecosystem which is ideal for snorkelers and scuba divers to explore.

Golf and Spain go hand in hand and around Salou is no exception. The wonderful climate and stunning scenery make for some superb golf courses. The Lumine Lakes course which was endorsed by legendary Greg Norman is well worth playing for any golfers in the area, each of the 18 holes are unique and provide a different technical challenge for every golfer. The Lumine Beach & Golf club also has another set of 18 holes called the Lumine Hills which incorporates the wonderful swooping landscape to gift golfer’s with fantastic views of the Mediterranean throughout their round.

Good

Did the job. 3 star in reality, rather than 4 star. Staff all very friendly. Didn't eat in restaurant as it's Michelin starred and thus very expensive. Breakfast was ok. I shared a room and it was a bit tight on space! Great location, 200m from seafront.

Beds were fine but as the season was not open , no bar to use. It is situated in a small road with no view and we were dropped off 200yds away, so we had to walk with clubs and luggage. Over all ok and the staff were very helpful.

Very Good

Hotel is very normal nothing to elaborate. But comfortable. Breakfast is very good with great selection of different styles of food on offer. It is close to a number of restaurants I recommend you try the Blue Monkey restaurant we found it to be very good and friendly.

The hotel was ideally located just back from the sea front so nice and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb a great choice in a buffet style. We did not eat dinner on the hotel due to high prices and the excellent choice of restaurants near by. Disappointing they did not have their own car park, we used a private underground car park about 100 yards away which the hotel organised and cost 13 euros per night, a little expensive, but at least we new it was safe. Only downside was the thin walls dividing the rooms you could enjoy the next doors choice of music and/ or other strange noises that might penetrate. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend to future participants.
