Hotel Tenerife Golf 4*

The hotel was great value for money but the rooms could do with a bit updating. Staff very helpfull but we’re over worked

We were upgraded from a superior room to a family room which was like a suite - very spacious with 2 bedrooms - nice balcony and lovely sea view. Good pool area which was never too crowded despite hotel being full ( where does everyone go?) Restaurant fine for breakfast but definitely to be avoided for evening meal. We enjoyed our stay but hotel is looking a bit tired.

Overall this was a very adequate hotel for our needs - we did not spend much time there. The fixtures in the bathroom were rather tired but everything was clean and comfortable. Definitely not a hotel if you have mobility difficulties (though they may have rooms where you don’t have to negotiate steps and shower not over the bath) - you had to carry your bags and golf clubs up steps to the lift and then down steps to get to our rooms.

Good location for South of Tenerfie. Breakfast always provided good choice but hot food was never that, tepid at best

The location was very good food average staff we’re lovely, friendly and efficient. The hotel was tired and needed updating and decorating.

Really nice hotel the location is brilliant it's right on the beach and close to restaurants and bars and also very close to golf courses

A very dated hotel, paint peeling off,loose treads on stairs, pool mattresses were grubby and worn with cigarette burns, our wardrobe doors wouldn’t slide because they wouldn’t stay on the track, our sofa was dirty, I’m afraid i could go on and on. But i must add that the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel serves it's purpose as a golfers hotel offering very little other than a room and buffet. The room was comfortable however the bedding was never changed in a 7-day stay and towels had to be left at the front door in order to be changed. The restaurant and food is not what you would expect from a 4* Hotel. The staff were very helpful.

Great location, friendly staff however tired looking hotel rooms, certainly not clean, poor gym, insufficient storage space in the rooms and poor bathroom facilities as well as very unclean. Even though we elected to switch off the A/C system it still produced unpleasant cigarette smell. Bar closes 11pm - disappointing if one wanted a night cap.

The hotel is well situated 5 minute walk to a plaza with a selection of bars and restaurants 15 minute walk along the shady to Los Abricos with some really nice restaurants Hotel staff very friendly rooms comfortable and clean our room had a sea view great to watch the sunrise Overall good would go back

Although some of the decor in the hotel is a little tired, the staff are brilliant and having a room overlooking the sea was fabulous. An egg chef at breakfast is always a welcome addition to buffet facilities and the couple of times we ate in the restaurant in the evening there was plenty of choice and it was good value.

The room was fine with a nice sea view and the sound of the waves was pleasant. The curtain had a large rip in the middle and it was annoying not to be able to get BBC on the TV. Reception staff were polite and helpful but some of the bar staff seemed rather grumpy. The food was rather dull and often not hot enough and the evening entertainment was almost non-existent. The location was ideal for the two nearby golf courses and for seaside walks and there were plenty of shops and restaurants close at hand. The swimming pool was too cold to use. This four star hotel has seen better days but is still reasonable value for money.

It was most disappointing, I could not wait to depart ( in fact booked an earlier flight home) The room 702, was very very cold, wind and cold was felt in the room, floors were so cold to walk on, had to persuade reception to provide bedroom slippers ( only given out if occupying Suites). Only a thin blanket provided for warmth on the bed, no bottles of drinking water, no kettle in the room. Shower had to be hand held all the time, the pressure of the water kept flicking the shower out of its cradle. The room smelt all the time of body odour, I reckon it was the cushions , chairs and sofa which had this stale smell of BO. Very disappointed with the hotel recommendation to ya.

Helpful staff. Comfortable room. Good food (although we were not fully inclusive). Nice pool/spa. Very clean. Overall a good stay.

Nothing wrong with this place at all. Very well located with bars and restaurants a short walk away. Hotel bar a bit basic, pool area a bit small, but a perfect base for a golfing holiday if you are not looking for 5 star luxury.

Good food but expensive drinks, and no coffee available after the evening meal. The hotel is now dated - our bathroom fittings were at least twenty years old and the waste plugs on both bath and wash basin didn't work. A major negative for us was the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in our room.

Situated in San Blas a quiet haven in what is a very large and sprawling tourist development reminiscent of coastal Spain Hotel is a bit tired, friendly helpful staff, breakfasts OK but restaurant low average Lots of good bars and places to eat 5 minute walk away

The staff and cleanliness of the hotel was very good. We had no iron, but were told we had to pay to have our clothes ironed !, we bought an iron and did it ourselves. No tea / coffee facilities in the room and so had to go out for this.
