With handicaps, results and scores from over 1,000,000 golfers, HowDidiDo is the world’s largest golf network, so we’re delighted to re-launch our partnership with them in a combined effort to get more golfers than ever hitting the fairways.
Howdidido provides a platform that records competition results and stats from golf club members, allowing them to analyse their rounds, work out where exactly on the course they lose and gain the most shots historically, and track their handicap progress over time.
With countless golfers in the YGT office, we have plenty of avid users in our midst so we know how valuable a tool it can be as far as improving your game goes. And what’s not to like about improving your chances of bringing your “A Game” with you on your next golf holiday?
Winter Sun with Your Golf Travel
There’s a lot to be said for making use of the winter months and trying to work on your game so you can hit the ground running when the new season arrives and while we advocate getting out on the course as often as possible even the the nights draw in early and the temperature plummets, there’s nothing quite like leaving it all behind and jetting off for some winter sunshine!
So say goodbye to temporary greens, soggy fairways and waterproofs and take a look at the selected special offers below because whether it’s a week away at the stunning Sheraton Salobre Resort in the Canary Islands, a jaunt over to Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, or anything in between, there’s plenty of opportunity to hit the fairways with the sun on your back over the winter months.
Just think...the Canary Islands enjoy an average of 17 degrees during our winter months, and in Abu Dhabi you’re practically guaranteed sunny skies and highs of up to 25 degrees. The UK on the other hand deals with an average of around 5 degrees during the winter. Ask yourself...where would you rather be?!
I love checking my stats on HowDidiDo. Not only is a great way to see how well I have performed in all my club competitions, it is a great way to track my performance over time. Being a bit of a numbers geek I am always analysing which holes at my club I score best / worst on, or simply just charting my handicap changes over time.

I have to say a big thank you to HowDidiDo! I have been able to analyse each of my competition rounds and see what were the positives and negatives. When I get the email from HowDidiDo with the latest competition result, I'm on to it straight away looking at my stats, seeing the improvements I've made but also looking at where I dropped shots. Howdidido I owe you one!

I use HowDidiDo to see when my club competitions are coming up and can sign-up online. It's perfect for when you can't get down your local club during the week but fancy playing in a comp on the weekend. Also it is really interesting to analyse your stats from competition scorecards E.g. I've never birdied the first at my club.
