Howth Golf Club
Although it is found on the peninsula that juts out to sea, Howth is certainly not a links course. Its verdant fairways are lined with gorse bushes, whose yellow summer bloom transforms the course into a beautiful sight.
The layout itself is one of countless to come from the pen and the imagination the great James Braid. The great Scot's influence extended far and wide in the golfing world, and at Howth he created a real gem.
Gentle undulations, dog-legs and characteristically intelligent bunkering mark this Braid treasure, which is always worth the trip during a golf tour in Dublin.

Course very hilly, not for the faint hearted!! Views were amazing even on a dull day!!! Everyone was friendly!!! We had a great day!!!!

4 hour round with superb views once you get to the top. Buggies are recommended. They allowed us to play off the whites

Wow, shat a gem, from the moment you arrive and all thd time yuu are playing thd views are immense..Fantastic course, some really tricky holes. Greens were fast and true. We decided to hire electric trolleys which were a god send. Wouldn't lkld to walk and carry as its a bit hilly in places. Great club house anx all staff were excellent, oc the 3 courses we played this was our favourite!!.

A tough undulating course,which was a real test. A little too tough for my standard, but that's not a criticism. Fantastic scenery and views. Lots of blind holes make it a real test.

Most senic course I have every played a clear day and views were spectacular. Greens very fast with some serious slopes making it a real test

Did not enjoy the course too hilly. Built into a mountain. Greens were true and fairways well maintained but far to steep a course. Wind was strong made it even more difficult not ideal. Great views though.
