The Iberostar Bavaro Golf Club, situated a mere twenty-minute drive from the airport, offers a delightful golfing experience throughout the year. Designed by the renowned P.B. Dye in 2009, this par-72, 18-hole course is nestled amidst verdant foliage, providing breathtaking panoramic vistas.
P.B. Dye was busy in the Punta Cana area, as well as this course he revamped the oldest layout of Bavaro, The Lakes course while also creating the first course at Punta Cana, La Cana.
The par three 8th hole at Iberostar Bavaro features a distinctive island green complex shaped like a starfish, which is surrounded by sand instead of water from tee to green. This unique feature is sure to leave a lasting impression, and the star-shaped green, bearing resemblance to the logo of the Iberostar hotel chain, serves as a constant reminder that you are playing on a course within an Iberostar resort.
