0800 043 6644Designed by Tom Simpson, Les Chenes (the Oaks) is a terrific parkland course that winds through thick forrest surrounding the Clubhouse. A number of dog-legs featuring several fairway bunkers place an emphasis on distance control off the tee, coupled with accurate stroke play and course management. The 5905m track is not overly long by modern standards but some smart course achitecture ensures a solid challenge for golfers of all levels, all year round.
Much shorter and narrower than the Oaks, but still an enjoyable track in its own right. Les Bouleaux, or The Birches, requires a fair amount of skill to navigate between the tree-lined fairway. A fitting accomplice to Les Chenes.
The golf club has two Eighteen Hole course we played the Les Chenes course twice. A good testing course for all abilities, our party ranged from 4 - 23 handicappers. True par fours and long par threes. A little scruffy in places. The bunkers were not well raked and there are lots of them to catch a miss directed shot !! Tree lined fairways We ate outside after round. Very good selection of traditional French dishes not overly priced. We played it on a Monday and Thursday with very few there. I would think that the weekends would be very busy.
