Is Molas is a Sardinian gem, set just 20 minutes from the centre of Cagliari. On the horizon, the iconic tower of Nora stares back at the resort, a four star destination with 84 elegant bedrooms, all within a few minutes of Sardinia's idyllic coastline. The atmosphere throughout is one of calm and tranquillity, a natural fit for a golf break where the 19th hole matters as much as the first tee.

Guests simply board the private shuttle and ten minutes later they are lounging on the white sand at Suergiu de Mari, with the Mediterranean lapping at the shoreline. The sheltered beach also offers water sports and sailing, which gives non-golfing partners and keen sailors something to get stuck into. Back at the resort there is a swimming pool, a tennis court and a solarium for those who prefer to stay put and soak up the sun.

Dining is well covered. The Is Molas restaurant has both outdoor and indoor tables and sits in the clubhouse with views across the course, so you can replay every shot with a cold drink in hand. For something more laid-back, Le Ginestre Restaurant is an informal dining room beside the swimming pool, where a relaxed breakfast or dinner is assured.
