Four times host to the Italian International Open, Is Molas' immaculate fairways have been pounded by famous names like Ian Woosnam and Bernhard Langer, while it was here that Vijay Singh burst on to the golfing scene with victory in the 1989 Volvo Open.
The resort also has a good nine-hole Academy Course, designed by Franco Piras, an associate of the Gary Player Design company. Although not as challenging as the Championship layout, the short course is perfect for a warm up, or for those still learning the game.
With fantastic views of the Sardinian hills and down towards the shoreline, Is Molas, with its two great golfing options, is a delightful place to enjoy some holiday golf.
If you need some fine tuning to your swing, the golf academy utilises the latest in video analysis technology.

Greens were a bit slow 1st day, but they were cut overnight and were just right for the rest of stay. Fairways were brilliant, Bunkers consistent throughout. The one downer were the mosquitoes, swarms up to 10 am and after 4 pm. Our repellent just not strong enough to cope. Don't know if this is a time of year thing, but advice would have been useful.

Unfortunately the greens were the worst we have played on our many trips to Italy. It was a very tough lay out and the course was generally in poor condition.
