Madinat Makadi

Madinat Makadi's 18-hole Championship Golf Course is the longest in the region, and it's also one of the most picturesque, enjoying stunning views of the Red Sea, mountains and beautiful landscapes. Each hole is strategically designed and bunkers and water features have been used brilliantly to create plenty of risk/reward shot-making opportunities.

Although it can be stretched to 7,500 yards, this par-72 layout has six sets of tees, making it playable for virtually any standard of player. For beginners or those looking to enhance their game, there's also a 9-hole short course, which is designed and built to USGA standards, a driving range with about 80 tee boxes, target greens and bunkers, and three challenging practice holes (par 3, 4 and 5).

Five holes on the championship course overlook the Red Sea, three of them enjoying views of lakes, too. In the extended clubhouse complex, there is an a la carte restaurant which also offers breathtaking views of both the golf course and the beach.

Additionally, a fully stocked pro shop offers a wide range of up-to-date golf accessories, rental clubs, buggies, trolleys and caddies.

Accommodation at Steigenberger Makadi

The Bogey Bar, meanwhile, allows you to choose from a delicious lunch menu.

The hotel features a refreshing pool that is heated during winter, a fully equipped Spa , a pristine private beach with access to the nearby coral reefs for snorkeling and SCUBA diving, tennis, beach volleyball, beach football, billiards and pool.
