Kenwick Park Hotel & Country Club

Kenwick Park is proper easy-on-the-eye parkland golf, with mature mixed woodland everywhere you look and plenty of water dotted around to keep you honest. The trees are big, too, with some standing well over 100 feet, so if you spray it off the tee you'll be chipping out rather than chasing hero shots.

The course uses the natural shape of the land and the established tree lines to frame each hole. You're rarely guessing where to go, but you do need to pick the right club and commit. There are a few moments where the lakes tempt you into taking on more than you should, which is exactly what you want on a weekend away, a bit of risk-reward without it feeling brutal.

The course sits within 350 acres of estate land, and it feels wonderfully tucked away from the moment you arrive. The approach drive alone, a stunning avenue of broadleaf trees, sets the scene nicely and makes it feel like a real estate course rather than just another parkland layout. Few courses in the East Midlands can match this setting for sheer natural beauty, and the combination of parkland character, water hazards and towering woodland create a cracking backdrop for a round.

It's the kind of place where accuracy matters more than pure length. If you're someone who hits it straight and manages your way around sensibly, you'll score well here. If you're a bit wild off the tee, you'll spend more time in the trees than you'd like. The water comes into play at points, adding just enough consequence to keep things interesting without making it feel penal.

Who is this for?
Golfers planning a relaxed UK break who want scenic parkland golf and on-site accommodation, ideal for 1-2 night stays, couples or small groups.

Who is it best for?
Societies and mid-handicap golfers who value accuracy and course management, plus anyone who likes an estate setting where you can play, eat and unwind without leaving the property.

Kenwick Park Country Club

Since opening in 1992, Kenwick Park has matured nicely, and the 6,782 yard championship track is a genuine test, not least because of the 9 lakes that are strategically positioned throughout the course.

Visiting golfers will enjoy the picturesque setting, as the course winds around the hotel and the Grade II listed clubhouse, which only adds to the superb experience of a golf break at Kenwick Park.

Sharpen your skills before teeing off at Kenwick Park's practice centre.

Accommodation at Kenwick Park Hotel & Country Club

All 51 en-suite bedrooms come with lovely views, either across the lawns and golf course or out into the surrounding woodland. The main building is Georgian and it's been converted in a way that keeps that traditional feel on the outside, while the interiors lean more contemporary, comfortable rather than fussy. Rooms are well appointed, with the kind of fittings and furnishings that make it easy to settle in after a day on the course.

If you're travelling as a couple, it's the kind of place that works for a quiet countryside reset as much as it does for a golf-heavy weekend. For groups and societies, the big win is that everything is on site, so you can finish your round, head back, freshen up and get straight into "what went wrong on the 14th" chat without having to organise taxis or split the group up.

The public areas are in keeping with the bedrooms, so there's plenty of space to sit down after golf and unwind. Whether you're reviewing the round over a drink or planning the next day's golf, the hotel provides a welcoming, unhurried atmosphere that suits the pace of a proper golf break. The lounges and communal spaces invite you to relax without feeling rushed, which is exactly what you want when you're away for a few days.

The drive in through the broadleaf avenue is a nice touch too, it gives you that instant "we're away from it all" feeling before you've even checked in. The estate's 350 acres of woodland and parkland surround the hotel, offering guests a genuine sense of escape. The setting is peaceful, the facilities are well maintained, and the combination of quality golf, comfortable rooms and attractive surroundings makes Kenwick Park a solid choice for golfers seeking a countryside break in Lincolnshire.

If you're planning a short UK golf break and want a scenic course, comfortable rooms and an easy, relaxed base for the weekend, Kenwick Park does the job. Include Kenwick Park on your next UK Golf Break with Your Golf Travel, and we'll sort tee times and accommodation in one go.

Loveley location and hotel, just a shame the bar shuts early at 11pm, but apart from that minor, minor gripe, it was a great stay and can't fault the food or the room

Very nice apart from the reception staff. They had given my room to two other ladies so I ended up nearly the furthest away from the ground floor. With no lift in the hotel it was quite a drag upstairs. They didn.t seem to know what they were doing. Other than that it was very nice enjoyed the break away the course was in good condition and everything went well.

The room was adequate, bed comfortable. The radiators were not functioning on what were quite cold days and nights (certainly not Flaming June). The restaurant staff were all very helpful and pleasant. The evening meals were very good taste and portions.

The pool area looked lovely but they provided no information on its use when we booked our slot. We got there to find you had have put on your costume already, no changing room, no towels provided and no seating area. We didn’t bother to go in. All meals in the restaurant and the golf bar were lukewarm. Service in the golf bar and restaurant was quick and efficient. Our room in the main hotel was clean, light and a good size. Our friends room, outside the main building was smaller and quite dark.

The staff were courteous and friendly. My room was clean, with complementary goodies in the bathroom. Considering that the catering was for a group of sixteen, for me, it was very good.

Lovely course, great pace on the greens and most of the holes you have to pick your way around, not a blasters course because you will come unstuck in the trees off the fairly tight fairways, but that is a positive in my view. Top notch and can't fault or improve on it!!

As an elderly couple, regular golfers, we found the course challenging but fair. Some really nice holes and a good variation. Greens were all in good condition. We are usually walkers but decided to buggy after the first day. There's a few slopes to contend with. The clubhouse is comfortable and welcoming. Really nice service from friendly staff. Considering the Covid restrictions a very good experience. We will return in the future.

Greens very hard to read but in good condition and quite quick, difficult to get close the ball just keeps rolling. You have to be accurate off the tee the woods close in on you creating narrow fairways. In the conditions the course is long and a joy to play highly recommended

We were a group of senior players and although such things are subjective, I found the course perfect for our age group.
