Designed by golf architect Ross Watson, the stunning tree-lined course will challenge golfers of all abilities while demanding intelligent shot selection to find the fairways and green in regulation. The layout boasts 18 unique holes with mixed species of tree lining the fairways, including some oil palms that are 40 years old and have been kept to retain the character of the course.
Throughout the course, golfers will be met with challenging hazards on almost every hole, with water coming into play on nine occasions. The zoysia fairways are in pristine condition while the sand hazards feature a new 'bunker fabric' technology, allowing them to have higher lips without becoming pot bunkers, to maintain the look and feel of the course.
There are many reasons why Kota Permai has continued to receive awards year after year. Picking up accolades like Best Course, Best Greens and Best Course Maintenance has become second nature. The USPGA specified greens are made up of tifdwarf grass, allowing for a perfect putting surface all year round and reach speeds of up to 12 feet or more when prepared for championship events.Stats:
