Paiute Wolf Golf Course

The Wolf Course (Kwetoo-Unuv) is the newest addition at the Paiute complex, and is not only its most difficult but is also the longest in Nevada, peaking at a whopping 7,604 yards. The extraordinary length is tempered by the addition of five separate sets of tees and the quality of the design is equalled by the natural beauty of the surroundings. The course was officially unveiled with a challenge match between Annika Sorenstam and Karrie Webb, who shot 65 and 64 respectively.

The signature hole on the course is found on the par-3 15th hole. Complete with an island green, something synonymous with a Dye design, this is a potential scorecard wrecker measuring over 180 yards with any tee-shots short or slightly off-line finding a watery grave.

Paiute Sun Mountain Golf Course

The Sun Mountain Course (Tav-Ai-Kaiv) is the most forgiving of Paiute's three and is 7,112 yards from the back markers. Situated away from the resort's interior, Sun Mountain is a favourite with nature lovers and its aesthetic beauty is unsurpassed.

The expansive rolling terrain is accompanied by enchanting scenery, the views of the mountain backdrop are awe-inspiring from the signature 12th hole while the natural desert landscape and elevation changes provide a good test to any golfer.

Paiute Snow Mountain Golf Course

Snow Mountain (Nu-Wav-Kaiv) is a classic Pete Dye design and was the original course that kicked it all off at Paiute. The course can reach 7,164 yards and includes typical features of its Hall of Fame architect, especially the imaginative railroad-tie bunkering and dog-leg fairways.

The signature hole is the short 16th, this par 3 offers a spectacular view of Sheep Mountain and requires a long carry over water, the more cautious golfer may decide to bail out to the right, leaving a simple up and down for par.

Excellent

Great course stuning views and the fact its so green with water on a few holes is mesmorising! The only dissapointing thing was that our buggy ran out of power on the 17th, luckily we were playing with another gent who pushed the cart back as it was a long way from the cart return and there was no apology from the staff at all, which was a shame after having played on a lovely well presented course
